Dr. Moroney qualified from the University of Wales, College of Medicine, Dental School in 2001. Following completion of vocational training in Cardiff, he practised as an associate dental surgeon in a general family practice in Dundrum for five years.
Dr. Moroney completed his Masters degree in Implant Dentistry from the University of Warwick in November 2010.
He has successfully completed the Dr. Lorenzo Vanini course on aesthetic bonding in Lake Como, Italy. He has attended lectures and workshops throughout Europe, and has been taught by some of the leading aesthetic dentists in the fields of composite bonding and implant dentistry.
He is a member of the Irish Dental Association, Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (one of only a few fully active members), and is chairperson of the Dublin Dental Study Club. He regularly keeps up to date via continuing professional development.
When not spending time with wife and young family, Dr. Moroney enjoys tennis, olympic triathlons and following the Irish rugby team! He is an accomplished pianist and organist.
Gemma trained as a Dental nurse in Trinity College, Dublin, completing her course successfully in 2005. During her initial time as a dental nurse Gemma took a keen interest in preventative dentistry and a more patient based approach, so she commenced her two year diploma in Dental Hygiene at University College Cork, where she graduated with Honours. She has been qualified as a dental hygienist since 2009.
Continuing education is very important to Gemma, and she takes every opportunity to attend lectures and seminars to keep her up to date and improve her skills. Gemma currently works on Wednesdays at Monkstown Dental Surgery.

Practice limited to periodontology and implant dentistry
Dr. Galassi has received his Dental Degree from the University of Rome “LA SAPIENZA”, in Italy. After two years general practice, he moved to Dublin where he continued working as a general practitioner until 2008.
Dr. Galassi then continued his education and followed the MSc program in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the Academic Center for Dentistry in Amsterdam (ACTA), in The Netherlands from 2008 to 2011, and graduated with honours.
Dr. Galassi has great interest in research questions relating to the susceptibility of periodontal diseases and microbiological tests as a primary means to establish the risk of periodontal diseases and peri-implantitis. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and wrote some chapters for textbooks in periodontology.
Dr. Galassi is a member of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and the Italian Federation of Periodontology (SIdP).
His focus is on the treatment of periodontal disease, bone regeneration, cosmetic periodontal plastic surgery and implant dentistry.
Dr Esselina Vassileva received her Dental Degree from the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria in 2003, where she opened her own practice. Her strong interest in orthodontics inspired her to start working with children and removable appliances.
In 2009, she was introduced to the world of fixed appliances and the Alexander Discipline. She was taught by Dr.R.G.”Wick” Alexander, one of the leading professors in orthodontics.
She loves to attend courses to insure that she can offer the latest technology to her patients, and keep up to date with everything new and exciting in the world of dentistry.
At the beginning of 2014 she moved to Dublin. Soon after she commenced a Masters of Science degree at the University of London (BPP) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics.
She is a member of Irish Dental Association, Bulgarian Dental Association and Alexander’s Discipline Study Club.
In her free time she likes outdoor activities, yoga and travelling. Recently, she discovered that swimming in the Irish Sea could be quite energizing.
